Avtelcom conducted a joint seminar with LANDESK – one of the oldest developers of software for improving the work of IT department, and reducing the operating costs of information systems in modern organizations.
The event was attended by representatives from the largest governmental, commercial and industrial businesses plus scientific centers.
At the beginning of the seminar, divisional leaders from both Avtelcom and LANDESK presented their key vendor products and the integrator’s implementation and support services. Next, Alexei Romanov, Head of the BPM practice at Avtelcom, presented his report dedicated to the principles of building an efficient IT services management infrastructure at an organization.
In his report Alexei emphasized that there are currently a multitude of ITSM platforms in the market, but that there are just a few successful implementations covering all or most business processes at the company. The traditional approach to preparing cost-effective solutions does not provide for a close interconnection between ITSM and the wide range of process automaton systems. To eliminate this gap and increase the return on investment from corporate IT systems, a comprehensive approach to their building is suggested. In this case, the BPM solution becomes a connecting link between individual business automation systems, while its work covers all business processes at the organization. This approach, implemented in ELMA-BPM solution, helps build and continuously improve work processes, organize a common information space for work by all of the company’s divisions, and exchange current information on a timely basis.
After completing his speech, Alexei gave the floor to Anton Stupin, LANDESK Business Development Director in Russia and the CIS. Anton spoke about the concept behind the LANDESK solution, focusing on the objectives of the IT and business layers it is intended to correct, and also spoke about cases of their successful implementation into the infrastructure at Russian and foreign organizations.
The two partners intend to continue actively building their partnership and implementing joint marketing initiatives in the future.
